This program has been developed to allow help files created by the Help and Manual authoring tool, by EC Software,  to be converted to JavaHelp. The program is in the early stages of development but you are welcome to try the application and provide any feedback that might help or encourage its progress.  Note that although HM2JHelp is free, Help and Manual is a commercial application.

 

The program reads in the HTML Help project file *.hhp and then uses this, coupled with the index and contents files to create the JavaHelp. HM2JHelp will attempt to create an equivalent TOC, index and full text search facility from the files.

 

This version currently works with Help & Manual v3 and v4 but is optimised for use with version 4.
